What a Joy it is to be a part of all God is doing here at Lake Country Baptist Church through Lake Country Preschool. I feel blessed that God chose me to be the Director and work with an amazing staff, as well as so many incredible children and families in the community that I grew up in and love. Lake Country Baptist Church has been my (home away from home) since my Dad accepted the position as Pastor here when I was in Third Grade. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior before coming to Lake Stevens, but this church is where I learned what it truly means to love Him, serve Him and love others. My Husband Kevin and I have been married since June, 2001.

We have 3 boys (Caleb, Landon and Brayden) and one little girl (Emalynn). I knew from my early teen years that I had a desire to work with young children. In May 2000, I graduated with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from a Bible College in Wisconsin. Following Graduation I worked for 9 years as a Co-Director at a Daycare and Preschool in Marysville. I always wanted to open a Preschool in our church, but sometimes it seemed like a unreachable dream. After a little push from our Assistant Pastor and a lot of hard work with a dear friend of mine, we opened up the doors to Lake Country Preschool in September 2009! It has been a incredible journey ever since! God has stretched me, challenged me and taught me so much through this school. I have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing children and families. I am thankful everyday to be doing something I love.

I'm Shelbi! I've been a part of Lake Country Baptist Church since the day I was born. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 8 years old and became more serious about my relationship with Christ in High School. During that time, I began to serve in the Children's Ministries at our church.

My husband Aaron and I have been married since December of 2012. We live in Snohomish with our poodle Pacey. My husband is part of the Worship Team and I continue to serve as a Teacher in the Children's Ministry.

I always knew that God had given me a gift to work with children and I wanted to pursue a career in Education, so I got my certificate in Early Childhood Education. I was given the opportunity to work here at Lake Country Preschool in the Fall of 2013. I'm so grateful to be a part of the lives of these kids and their families!

Teacher | Toddler Time

Hi, I'm Jen! I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was 13. My relationship with Jesus began to truly grow during my late teenage years. I'm thankful each morning is a new opportunity to glorify HIM.

My husband Lance and I have been married since March 2004. We have twin girls, Grace and Faith who were born in 2007! I have been attending Lake Country Baptist Church since 2001, and was asked to begin leading in the nursery just after Lance and I were married. Over the years I've served as a Nursery Director, Lead Teacher and currently as the Children's Ministry Director. We love our church and are so thankful for the leadership and members here.

I stayed home with our girls when they were little. When they started school God provided an opportunity for me to get involved with Lake Country Preschool. This has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I am so thankful to spend each day with the opportunity to present Jesus in to these kids. I love getting to know each of their personalities, their hearts and their families. I am greatly humbled God has allowed me to be a small part in His ministry here!

Teacher

Hi, I'm Sarah! I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 6 years old. As I grew in my faith, I became very active in serving at my church and also in camp minstries, worldwide missions, and as a full time nanny. While serving in these areas, I realized my greatest passion and gifting is working with young children. I consider it a joy and privilege to have the opportunity to work with children and to share with them the love of Christ. My husband David and I have been married since May 2011. We have a darling little girl, Carissa Joy, who was born in 2014. We moved to Washington in 2013 when my husband accepted a job as a worship leader at a nearby church. One of my biggest blessings since moving to the area has been the ability to work at Lake Country Preschool. Getting to know the other teachers, the children, and the families that enter into the Preschool has been such a joy and I am very thankful that I get to be a small part of something so wonderful.

Hi, I'm Michele! I've been attending Lake Country Baptist Church since the Summer of 2004 when I accepted Christ as my Savior heading into my Freshman year of High School. For the past twelve years I've looked for ways to serve and get involved. I met my husband David here at church and we have been married for 5 years and have two sons, Parker and Sawyer. I received my Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2010 and have worked at Lake Country Preschool for the past 6 years. Before getting my degree I babysat and helped in our churches Children's Ministry. I always loved kids and found that I had a passion to work with them as a career during my senior year of high school. I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach your children and be a part of their lives!
