    Miss Amy

I grew up in Lake Stevens, but now reside in Marysville with my husband Kevin and our two sons, Caleb and Landon. I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 2000. After graduating I worked for seven years at a local childcare center where I held positions as preschool teacher, assistant director and co-director. During those seven years I had the opportunity to plan and implement daily preschool activities for children who were between two and five years old. As co-director I took on a supervisory role while the owner had to be away from the center. I love watching a being a part of the excitement young children have for learning! They are like "little sponges" and as the director and a teacher at Lake Country Preschool my goal is to help "fill them" with the truth of God's love for each one of them as well as provide activities that help jump-start their excitement for learning! Lake Country Baptist Church has been my "church home" since my dad answered their call for a Pastor 19 years ago. It's where I've strengthened my walk with the Lord and learned how to serve Him in all areas of my life. I was in high school when the Lord placed the desire to work with young children on my heart and even then I hoped that someday the opportunity would arise to open a preschool at our church. Praise the Lord that day is here!

    Miss Kayla

I grew up and currently reside in Marysville with my husband, Shawn and three children, Kaeden, Kennadi and Kendyl. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Child Science: Child Development, from Florida State University in 2002. My experience working with children ranges from being a mother of three to working as Recreation Coordinator for the Marysville Parks and Recreation Department for five years. During that time, I had the opportunity to work with individuals and families in the community. I coordinated the summer day camps, Safety Town, youth and adult classes as well as assisted with several of the community wide special events. I truly enjoy working with children and love to see their individual growth spiritually, socially and academically. The Lord led my family to Lake Country Baptist Church and I am eager to be a teacher at the new Lake Country Preschool.
