Parent Communication

Communication between the teacher and parent is essential to the success of your child’s education.  Prior to the start of the school year we will set up a conference between the parent(s) and teachers to discuss any important information you would like us to know about your child regarding education, behavior, family, etc.  This will give us the opportunity to get to know you and your child a little better before we dive into the busyness of the school year.

We encourage on-going communication throughout the school year.  Please feel free to call or set up an appointment with the teacher/director if you have any concerns you would like to discuss.

Please keep us informed of any changes that occur in your child’s world that may impact their interactions with their teachers and classmates at school.

Each month we will send home a newsletter with the upcoming themes and activities.  We will also include the snack schedule for that month as well as any other important information or reminders we may need to share.

Parent Involvement

After the children have had a few weeks to get comfortable in the classroom environment and settle into their routine, we would love to have parents who are willing to come into the classroom and help from time to time.  These times may include:  holiday parties/programs, birthday celebrations, special projects, and field trips.
